St Ann's wider community

St Ann's school is closely linked with St Ann's CE Church. We use the church buildings for our School Parliament meetings and the church supports us pastorally.

Active Hope is a Christian charity based in Warrington, who are committed to providing quality outdoor and adventurous activities from well qualified and enthusiastic instructors to children and young people from across the area.

They work with a number of schools in the Orford area including St Ann's

Members of St Ann's staff took part in a charity walk on Snowdon to raise funds for Active Hope.

WORSHIP WARRIORS

The School's Worship Warriors led part of the Worship service at St Ann's Church on the 19th March 2017. The theme was, "The wiseman who built his house upon the rock."

Charity workVision Aid

St Ann's school and church have worked together to collect lots of old glasses for the Vision Aid Overseas Charity. The glasses will be recycled and sent to countries where they are needed.
We took the glasses to one of the collection points.

The school is currently working towards Fairaware accreditation. We have had to run a pupil survey of what we know about Fairtrade.  We identified that we need to find out more about where our food comes from.

Year 6 made Fairtrade Chocolate cakes to share on their "meet the parents" afternoon.
